Pamela Bach, the actress known for her roles in "Baywatch" and "Knight Rider," has died at the age of 62 in her Hollywood Hills home. Authorities have ruled her death a suicide, confirming that she suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Bach was found on March 5 after family members, concerned for her well-being, went to check on her when they had not heard from her. Emergency responders were called to her home at approximately 10 PM, where she was pronounced dead at the scene. No suicide note was found.
David Hasselhoff, Bach’s former husband and co-star, released a statement mourning her passing: "Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but kindly request privacy as we grieve and find solace through this challenging time."
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bach launched her acting career in the 1970s, gaining recognition in TV series such as "The Young and the Restless," "Cheers," "The Fall Guy," "T.J. Hooker," and "Superboy." She met Hasselhoff while filming "Knight Rider," and the couple married in 1989, later welcoming two daughters, Taylor Ann and Hayley. Their marriage ended in divorce in 2006, followed by years of legal disputes over spousal support that extended until 2017.
In one of her final public sightings, Bach was reportedly seen by her neighbor, Hiromi Osiecki, who noted that she "looked sad" in the days leading up to her death. Another neighbor described her as usually being friendly and talkative while out walking her dogs, making her passing all the more shocking.
Her daughter Hayley reportedly discovered her body and was visibly distraught as emergency responders arrived. A neighbor recalled hearing her "yelling, screaming, crying on the street," struggling to process the devastating scene.

She shared her joy in watching her granddaughter, London, grow, writing, "Seeing her smile light up my world is truly the greatest blessing. Here's to a year of making cherished memories, spreading joy, and embracing every precious moment!"
Bach’s representative, Sharon Kelly, expressed deep shock at her passing, stating, "My heart goes out to her family, her beautiful daughters, and granddaughter, who Pamela constantly gushed about and loved so dearly."
Bach leaves behind her two daughters and granddaughter, along with a legacy of television work that made her a familiar face in American households. Her passing is a stark reminder of the importance of mental health awareness and support.
